The Lithium-ion Battery (22.2V, 28Ah) is a high-capacity battery pack made from high-quality Samsung 40T cells. We designed this battery specifically for use on vehicles powered by the T500 Thruster. It fits in our 4″ Series watertight enclosure and is equipped with a QS8-S connector that can handle the 110A continuous discharge rating.
This battery does not include an internal battery management system (BMS) to prevent overdischarging. The battery voltage must be monitored to prevent discharging below the minimum safe voltage level.
The battery can be charged with any lithium-ion compatible balance charger such as this one. It comes with a QS8-S to XT90 adapter to connect to the charger and also for use in low discharge rate applications.
The Samsung 40T lithium-ion cells used in this battery have excellent performance characteristics, as well as a high tolerance for accidental mishandling. The battery is CE (Conformité Européenne) approved, ROHS compliant, and UN38.3 certified. Certificates can be provided upon request.
